Mae Castro Joins IES

Princeton’s International Economics Section is pleased to welcome Mae Castro as its newest section administrator.

Mae is originally from Vancouver, Canada. Her administrative career began in the corporate world, where she held various roles before pivoting to education. Working at Princeton Public Schools, she had the opportunity to combine her business degree and experience with her love of education.

Looking to transition into higher education, Mae applied to Princeton University. “I’ve always had a passion for education (specifically higher education) and had a dream of becoming a professor,” said Mae. “Due to life’s speed bumps and detours, that didn’t work out, but I’m glad to be here to support the university, and more specifically, economics/IES. I have a degree in business, so it’s marrying my two passions together.”
